Position Specific Description
FloridaPower & Light Company is looking for a Storekeeper II to join their team in Panama City, FL.
Additional Requirements include:
- Perform but not limited to all applicable duties of a storekeeper I
- Must be able to manage inventory counts & other applicable duties if working at a satellite and or parent storeroom. Perform safety stock & MMB transactions, maintain environmental compliance in District(s). At district level ensure all applicable tasks are tracked and are completed (As Needed).
- Coordinate non-standard transportation between all warehouses in districts.
- Responsible for "On Book" material at parent & satellite locations. Manage truck stock in district.
Job Overview
The Storekeeper's responsibilities include but not limited to ordering, receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, counting, shipment preparation, invoice reconciliation, transferring material, along with maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment that is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualification
- A valid license and be able to obtain a class A CDL.
- Ability to walk, climb ladders, lift, carry, and pull heavy objects, use hand tools, work in extreme weather conditions and operate multiple motorized equipment (i.e. forklift, stock pickers, and 4-way directional lifts)
- Ability to work at heights 20+ feet, have good depth perception, and physically be able to wear a safety harness
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, pay attention to detail in all business dealings
Preferred Qualification
- Working knowledge of SAP and Chrome River
- A positive, can-do attitude regarding work assignments and interactions with other people
- Flexible work schedule including weekend, after hours, holiday or call-out support as business permits
- A team player who works well with teammates and willing to provide assistance when asked
