Production Lead - 1st Shift - Military Veterans

DESCRIPTION
Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) : You’ll ensure a safe work environment by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, and by complying with all HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
- Incident Reporting : Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will help maintain a safe workplace for everyone.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : By using PPE correctly, you’ll protect yourself and your colleagues, promoting a culture of safety.
- Quality Assurance : You’ll follow standard work processes and quality procedures, perform quality inspections, and raise concerns to minimize costs and exposures.
- Team Performance : Monitoring team performance and ensuring tasks are completed to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards will be key to your role.
- First Responder : Acting as the first responder to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety concerns will help maintain smooth operations.
- Training and Development : Ensuring that on-the-job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed, and documented will support continuous improvement and team development.
- Communication and Coordination : Effective communication with your team and other departments will facilitate coordination and help achieve production and delivery goals.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
