Facilities and Maintenance Purchasing Administrator - Military Veterans

SUMMARY

The Facilities & Maintenance Purchasing Administrator’s primary responsibility is to ensure supplies and equipment are ordered based on our current needs, researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.)

 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

 

  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs Research potential vendors
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Develop & Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
  • Prepare spend analysis to track to a budget Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure documentation is accurate and complete Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition Organize and Maintain a clean inventory area and audit regularly to set standards
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
