Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to support the transformation of an existing operational environment into a data centric organization.
Must reside within 150 miles of the Newport News Va (Fort Eustis) location. The work schedule will be a hybrid. Some work will be conducted at Fort Eustis, VA with occasional CONUS travel to support project work. Travel time expected 10% of the time.
What You'll Be Doing:
You will be acquiring, transforming, transferring, and maintaining data and information to replicate an operational environment for development, training, education, capability and concept development, and experimentation for the customer.
Conducting requirements analysis and risk management
Provide backup to architecture management
Process documentation
Conduct Infrastructure maintenance.
Provide configuration management and verification
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
8+ years experience in systems engineering field
3 -5 of those years with experience designing IT architecture and systems integration at the enterprise level that fits within the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) - DoD's framework that provides visualization infrastructure for specific stakeholders concerns through viewpoints organized by various views.
Experience resolving problems with integrating existing systems and application architectures
Experience with security and compliance activities necessary to maintain system accreditation (to include documentation and mitigation).
Active Secret Clearance
