This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.

Position Overview:

The Integration Manager supports pre- and post-M&A integration efforts. The role will oversee the integration process in partnership with the Head of Integration and NFP’s Integration Project Management Office, ensuring the strategic and technical objectives of mergers and acquisitions are met. The Integration Manager must collaborate closely with many parties, including operational and administrative departments, business line leaders and members of newly acquired firms.

The successful candidate is process driven, detail oriented, a strategic problem solver, has change management expertise, takes initiative and ownership in seeing projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration Planning:
    • Create deep connections with leaders of the target acquisition firm during the due diligence phase.
    • Conduct working sessions with counterparts to understand current state processes and systems and identify key challenges and opportunities to be discussed prior to acquisition.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Work closely with senior leadership to define priorities and drive the integration project forward.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage integration projects from start to finish, ensuring key milestones are met within scope, time, and budget.
    • Track and report on progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure success.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with departments including HR, IT, Finance, Compliance, Investments and Operations to ensure seamless integration across all areas.
    • Act as the primary liaison between the acquiring and acquired entities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide exceptional support to newly acquired staff by setting appropriate expectations and being available and supportive of their needs throughout the process.
  • Technical Migration Support:
    • Conduct deep working sessions with members of newly acquired firm to continually identify challenges and opportunities across numerous aspects of their business.
    • Collaborate with team members to complete mapping of legacy data and processes from source to destination.
    • Validate data using various reports and conversion tools to determine any conversion issues or further cleanup as needed.
    • Facilitate data reviews to ensure on-time completion and data quality.
  • Post-Integration Review:
    • Conduct evaluations post-integration to assess overall success and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
    • Capture and document lessons learned for future acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience at an RIA.
  • Proven ability to lead complex integration projects successfully.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written, skills with the ability to engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team oriented and collaborative nature.
  • Experience with custodian partners preferred.
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Industry CRMs, Performance Reporting and Trading applications.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $72,000 – $105,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
