Summary: Information Security Services is responsible for providing shared services that safeguard Energy Transfer's business and assets in a digitally connected world by identifying and mitigating Cybersecurity risks. We also administer and operate our cybersecurity controls in both IT and OT environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with deployed cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications.
- Assists in incident response and remediation of emerging and ongoing threats.
- Analyze and investigate cybersecurity tickets and alerts.
- Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts and recommends technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
- Stays up-to-date on current tools, techniques, and vulnerabilities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including conferences, workshops, and certifications.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, knowledge, skills & abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or information security or High School diploma with equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience with experience in cybersecurity preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Sans Security Awareness Professional, CompTIA Security +) are a plus.
- ITIL Certification preferred, strong understanding of ITIL tools, processes and terminology a plus.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written/oral communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
