Production Manager ACT - Military Veterans

Main responsibilities:

• Comply with company polices, including employee manual, quality& Safety policy and procedures.

• Implement the applicable requirement of certification ISO13485 system and ISO 14001 system. Ensures continuous compliance of product quality, safety, delivery and efficiency, and drive their improvement by effective projects initiatives& implementation.

• To manage, plan, organize production activities and TPM activities, execute maintenance and installation. Ensure the plant running smoothly.

• Responsible for coordinating cost saving projects with aim to reduce standard cost. .

• Ensure high standard and efficient maintenance with aim to reduce overhead spending.

• Actively promote teamwork spirit emphasizing corrective actions and problem solving.

• To effectively control and manage engineering expense to contribute favorable or zero manufacturing variations.

• To actively promote implementation of Share Values, and Lean Manufacturing to achieve high standard manufacturing.

• Responsible for production management including production schedule, process equipment& tools& fixtures, and work force allocation to ensure customer required quality, delivery, efficiency and safety.

• Organize the effective system for production skill training, qualification and performance review, to meet the requirement of position skill and team development.

• Ensures the production team compliance to all applicable Getinge Suzhou policies, and work instructions.

• Deeply Involve in investigation and analysis for process nonconformity and customer complaints, contribute the know-how and experience from involved processes to resolve the case effectively.

• Effectively initiative the 6S projects, Lean manufacturing projects to improve the operation excellence in concerned production processes.

• Participate in studying and learning laws and regulations such as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) management

• Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor degree, majored in science engineering in the university

• 10 years in production engineering experience of manufacturing, above 8 years production supervisory experience in EU/US company is preferred

• Experience to work in an international environment, with rich NPI& Lean management experience in a plus

  • Good knowledge in lean project management in a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the immediate business environment as well as at corporate headquarters and other global locations.

• Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Quick in leaning, and strong in task execution

• High pressure tolerance, by actively taking the working challenges& new changes
