The Work
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we are seeking a Network System Engineer to participate on Moorestown, New Jersey design teams for computing infrastructure, primarily as a computer network designer or architect.
In this role, you will participate in network engineering activities including the following:
• Design, development, deployment
• Integration and test
• Product selection
• Network architecture design and development
• Deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Product selection
• Integration with external systems
• Monitor performance and ensure system
availability and reliability
• Work within established configuration and
change management policies to ensure
awareness, approval and success of changes
made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies,
and procedures

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
• Experience with configuring and deploying network switches and routers including VLANs and routing protocols (including TCP/IP and Multicast).
• Experience in Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching.
• 2 + years experience as a network engineer, designing, implementing, deploying and supporting a production network at an enterprise scale.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Moorestown, NJ, and have a vehicle to be able to travel between multiple sites within the campus (5 mile radius).
• Must be willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience working in a team environment on one or more of the following areas: analysis, requirements development, design, modeling, simulation, integration, test.
• Experience with design tools and environments for radar systems and subsystems.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Network automation.
• Experience with coding / scripting / automation / orchestration platforms (Python, Ansible), including interfacing with APIs.
• Experience with design, provisioning, and troubleshooting of WAN and LAN connectivity technologies (i.e. MPLS, LACP).
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Experience with priority queuing, Class of Service (CoS), and Quality of Service (QoS).
• Experience with Cisco appliances (switches, routers, firewalls) and Cisco IOS configuration development and maintenance.
• Experience in an Agile workflow environment.
• Strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
