Job Description

What your day will look like:

  • Drive a World-Class Safety Culture: Lead by example to foster a proactive safety culture and implement initiatives that ensure the health and wellbeing of all employees. Establish and maintain a safe work environment through risk assessment, targeted training programs, proactive incident/near miss prevention, and continuous improvement methodologies. 
  • Promote Health and Wellbeing: Develop and manage initiatives aimed at minimizing exposure to physical, chemical, environmental, and ergonomic hazards. Partner with cross-functional teams to create programs that support the holistic health and wellbeing of our workforce.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Our company is committed to continuously implement activities to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. You shall support those projects and continuously seek opportunities to reduce waste, emissions, and energy use in line with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure Compliance with EHS regulation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant EHS requirements, both national and corporate, and guarantee compliance through regular audits, training, and documentation. Develop policies and procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Deliver Right-Product Quality: Drive product safety and right-quality by implementing rigorous quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes. Leverage data-driven insights and continuous improvement methodologies to uphold our reputation as a premium brand.

Are you up for the challenge?

  • +10 years of experience in a Quality (or Continuous Improvement) and EHS leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred certifications include CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or other recognized EHS/quality certifications.
  • Familiarity with quality and safety management systems (e.g., ISO standards, HAZOP, 5S, FMEA, Control Plan) and proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis).
  • Additional beneficial certifications could include ISO 9001/14001 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Green Belt), and OSHA certifications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40 days p/year.
  • The base salary for this position generally ranges between $ $160,000 USD- $210,00 USD. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
