Corporate Trainer - Military Veterans

About the Role:
We are seeking a Corporate Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for Yardi's RightSource Affordable Housing team, supporting product and platform adoption across multiple business units. In this role, you'll collaborate with leaders to identify learning needs, design training solutions, and conduct sessions that empower employees and clients to effectively use Yardi products. As a subject matter expert, you'll create and update course content, lead virtual and in-person sessions, and support Go-Live implementations. This position requires up to 45% travel to meet business needs.
What You'll Do:
- Decides the best programs to train employees and/or clients to meet the needs of the organization.
- Motivates, trains and assesses understanding for large groups of employees or clients.
- Leads training projects. Establishes project timelines and milestone requirements; performs needs analyses; communicates project information; updates cross-functional team members or clients; effectively engages individuals needed to successfully complete projects.
- Measures the effectiveness of the training and has the authority and discretion to make necessary revisions and communicate and implement across the corporate enterprise.
- Defines learning objectives and organization requirements for education and then leads the development and creation of course content to support objectives.
- Ensures training participants have assimilated knowledge, understand how to solve problems that may occur using the software programs, provide guidance for using the programs in concert with communicating with clients.
- Evaluates participant knowledge and skill-set ability through observation and assessments.
- Coaches and mentors employees or clients during and after training workshops to ensure a successful on-boarding processes.
- Facilitates instruction through: web-based course content, online webinars, face-to-face instructor-led courses, Go-Live implementations/set-ups, individual phone or face-to-face coaching sessions. Follows-up with training participants to ensure full- utilization of software capability to ensure the successful transfer of knowledge into practice.
- Researches, tests and designs training courses and presentations.
- Determines the most effective medium or mediums to deliver training or facilitate presentations.
- Provides direction with respect to software set-up and implementation by gathering the necessary information to provide value-added direction and counsel (e.g., Go-Live set-up/implementations/post Go-Live support).
- Researches and resolves software or product issues and when appropriate, escalates unresolved issues to appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Provides employee team placement recommendations as needed to Managers, based on assessed knowledge and soft-skill competencies.
- Communicates subject matter effectively by properly understanding the needs of the audience and also targeting the sessions to meet their education level and skill.
- Advises and institutes best practices relevant to clients in the application of Yardi products.
- Responds to employee and/or client product and software functionality and set-up questions.
- Determines overall effectiveness of training delivered and makes improvements as needed.
- Stays up-to-date on new product enhancements, functionality, learning and development best practices and industry changes.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area (Business, Finance, Math, Computer/Engineering Sciences, or product-related field).
- Eight plus (8+) years of training and curriculum/course design experience with strong instructional design skills focusing on adult learners.
- Five plus (5+) years of experience leading corporate learning and development projects.
- Four (4) years relevant industry, field or software training experience.
- Demonstrates initiative by going above and beyond what needs to be done without being told; volunteers for challenging assignments; confidently initiates value-added action independently; offers assistance to others without being asked.
- Proven ability to present to large groups and speak interpersonally with individuals.
- Proven ability to facilitate training sessions in a friendly, clear and effective manner.
- Ability to lead and develop training to meet organizational initiates.
- Ability to make sound decision in identifying training solutions and proactively resolving learner issues.
- Proven client-centered commitment and focus.
- Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Collegial, team-oriented disposition with the desire and ability to establish cooperative working relationships with employees at all levels within Yardi, outside of Yardi, and with clients.
- Up to 45% travel or as business needs dictate.

Annual compensation range $84,800 -$95,400
