The Admissions Office seeks a self-motivated and team-oriented individual for its open full-time Admissions Operations Specialist position to provide administrative day-to-day operations support in the recruitment of students and processing of applications to Manhattan University. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Process and scan college admissions documentation (including high school and college transcripts, home school affidavit or GED documentation, test scores, and supporting documentation) ensuring the highest degree of accuracy.
Provide administrative support for on campus and off campus recruiting events.
Manage student information, leads, and communication in CRM (Slate).
Manage student application profile data using Slate.
Process application decisions for first-year, transfer, and graduate applicants.
Record all application decisions in Slate and Banner
Works closely with admissions team to complete and verify student records.
Manage data workflow from Slate to Banner through Banner Document Management.
Oversee tour guides scheduling
Cross train and fill in as needed for the front office and operations staff
Other duties as assigned.
Other responsibilities include a strong knowledge and understanding of Manhattan University academic programs, admissions policies and procedures. Participation in campus recruitment events, and ability to build relationships with College partners. The Admissions Operations Specialist will also work closely with members of the Financial Aid Staff to provide pertinent information to families applying for need and merit based financial aid, the registrars office, institutional research, and Institutional Technology. The Admissions Operations Specialist must have the capability to see the big picture and understand divisional goals and prioritize their work accordingly. Additionally, they must be able to take initiative on projects as well as to see projects through completion
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree
One to three years of admissions experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent writing and public speaking skills.
Enthusiastic personality, strong problem solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Preference will be given in the evaluation process to candidates with prior experience working in an undergraduate or graduate admissions office.
SLATE and Banner experience preferred.

Salary: $53,000 - $58,000 Per Year
