This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Who We Are
HII - Mission Technologies seeks a full-time Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Director of Strategic Information (DSI) in Woodlawn, Maryland. This is a hybrid work position with the potential to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely. This CMS effort supports technology development, threat analysis, operations integration, training support, data analytics support, and technology transition assistance.
What You Will Do
- Serves as a Counterintelligence Analyst capable of leveraging all-source information to build a body of knowledge on entities of interest and have excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex findings in a succinct manner consumers.
- Provide support in the areas of CI-focused security screening, CI-focused vetting and intelligence analysis, and administrative support to customer's vetting program.
- Examines finished intelligence and develops assessments that predict, inform, assist customers in understanding current threats, and recommends countermeasures to manage risks.
- Triage CI incidents, review files, and produce counterintelligence analytical reports and assessment.
- Leverages various databases, tools, and knowledge management repositories and understand how to search for and locate relevant information.
- Proactively identify and assess potential threat information, recommend risk mitigation efforts, and incorporate findings into formal reports.
- Prepares, produces, edits, and disseminates, both scheduled and ad hoc, formal, and informal reports, summaries, and products as directed by [contractor and government] Senior leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- US Citizenship required.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Office 365.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- 10+ years' experience and familiarity with counterintelligence activities, investigations, operations, and analysis with a master's degree or bachelor's and/or 15+ years of counterintelligence experience.
- Experience conducting counterintelligence activities in a Title-50 or Title-10 environment.
- Experience conducting counterintelligence activities in a non-Title-50 or non-Title-10 environment.
