Powerplant Repairman - Military Veterans

Description: 

Performs aircraft powerplant maintenance tasks on the AH64E, UH-60M and AH-6i as required using the specific OEM Operators Manuals, Maintenance Test Flight Manuals, Check List Manuals, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, subassemblies and line replaceable unit’s (LRUs) of the AH-64E, UH-60M and AH-6i power plant related systems (engines and auxiliary power units). Remove, disassemble, repair, rig, rework, reassemble, install, modify, adjust, test and preserve power plant systems, subsystems, and components according to directives, technical manuals, and safety procedures. Perform inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation, and appropriate AVUM/AVIM corrective actions on the power plant related systems. Perform power plant maintenance and repair. Operate and maintain all applicable ground support equipment. Identify, use and maintain all common, special, and precision tools available for power plant maintenance and repair. Conducts MNG OJT training as required. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • Five (5) years' experience as an aircraft powerplant mechanic required.
  • Must have demonstrated hands-on working knowledge or GE T700-701 series and Allison 250-C30 series power plant systems and subsytems.
  • Graduate of a US Military aircraft powerplant maintenance course or civilian equivalent training.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms and other aircraft related documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain a Saudi Work Visa.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.

Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to these regulations throughout their employment.

Team GDC ME provides advanced rotary wing aviation support to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard. This collaboration between GDC Middle East, as the prime contractor, and S3 Arabia as the subcontractor enables S3 International to enhance global operations. S3 Arabia functions as a subsidiary of S3 International and operates as a foreign entity with no U.S. fiscal presence.

The hands-on aviation support that Team GDC ME provides includes training, maintenance, logistics, and airfield operations.
