The CSO Med/Surg RN will be responsible for: Joining an innovative Central Staffing Office to meet the ever-changing staffing needs across the enterprise. Providing competent nursing care to patients (newborn - adult) and their families across all inpatient settings including the surgical, medical, oncology and neuroscience units. Potential for cross training in additional areas including Emergency Department, Gastroenterology Procedure Unit (GPU), IV team, Inpatient Psychiatry and Infusion Centers. Delivering family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert care. Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with many opportunities for learning and career growth with comprehensive orientation to meet individual needs. Opportunities to be involved in hospital wide committees and to precept new staff and nursing students. To qualify, you must have: A bachelor's degree in nursing. A minimum of 1-year inpatient acute care RN experience required with a wide range of diagnoses preferred. Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and flexibility of availability required. Straight nights with every third weekend also available. Additional $5/hour incentive for all hours worked.
