As a member of the Strategic Implementation Launch Team, (SILT) the Business Planning Analyst II will work with clinical and operational leadership to launch innovative new clinical programs for Boston Children?s Hospital. This Business Planning Analyst II will: Conduct analyses of clinical and financial data and prepare a variety of reports to support the growth of clinical launch programs for the SILT team. Prepare analyses in a client-ready, polished format for clinical and administrative leadership review. Work closely with other members of the SILT team to provide information needed to support marketing and operational improvement efforts. In addition to SILT responsibilities, will also support other strategic business planning efforts related to clinical growth, capital planning initiatives, and ad-hoc special projects aimed at improving hospital operations and financial performance. Leverage strong database skills to create new processes or optimize existing ones in order to effectively pull required data. Determine methodologies for collecting and analyzing data through the use of a variety of systems. Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment. To qualify, you must have: BA degree in business, healthcare or related field and minimum of 3 years of related experience in business planning and analysis. Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency with databases. Ability to evaluate analytics and understand the content within the data. Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. Project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as cohesively with a team. Strong business acumen to develop an understanding of the organization and various functions. Must be able to effectively balance multiple responsibilities and adapt to a changing environment. Strong interaction and relationship building skills in order to partner with customers, peers and management. Ability to learn and navigate additional software systems related to data reporting, analysis, and visualization.
