Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Landscape Irrigation Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to act as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to irrigation networks.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design and planning of primary and secondary irrigation networks.
Act as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to irrigation networks.
Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
Know how to Compute irrigation demands and requirements.
Develop efficient and cost-effective irrigation designs that meet all requirements.
Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
Review of deliverables including design reports, design submissions and specifications.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Civil engineering or related field from an accredited University/ Institute is required.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in design of Landscape and irrigation projects - specifically designing of secondary irrigation works (Solenoid valves, sprinklers, drippers, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience advising client of best systems, materials, products, and sustainability for irrigation systems.
Strong computer/software skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Rain cad.
