About the Job
As a Cyber Targeter at CIA, you will effectively leverage the most advanced cyber tools, datasets, and methodologies to analyze all-source information, generate operational leads, drive successful operations, disrupt threats, and advance CIA's cyber mission priorities. Cyber targeters are investigative, pragmatic, and mission driven. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will identify the individuals, computer networks, emerging threats, cyber vulnerabilities, and collection opportunities that will transform intelligence and advance US national security interests in the cyber domain.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a STEM discipline, preferably in one of the following disciplines:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Network Security/Engineering
- Cyber Security
- Computer/Digital Forensics
- Information Science/Systems
- At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale is preferred
- And/or at least (5) years of professional experience working across one or more of the following technical and/or analytic disciplines:
- Computer/Digital Forensics
- Cyber Security
- Internet/Web Technology
- Information Science/Systems
- Network Security & Engineering
- Social Network Analysis
- Emerging Technologies
- Data Analytics
- Strong critical thinking skills; advanced research skills; excellent analytic abilities
- Strong verbal and written communications skills/polished writing and presentation skills, especially as it relates to briefing technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Inquisitive and investigative
- Action-oriented and results-driven
- Ability to successfully navigate the Internet and mobile environments, as well as other large datasets
- Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA , including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Intelligence Community experience
- Advanced STEM degree, preferably in one of the previously identified fields/disciplines
- Foreign language skills for qualifying languages on the Foreign Language Hiring Priority List
- Experience with programming and algorithmic techniques
Washington, DC
The Central Intelligence Agency's primary mission is to collect, evaluate, and disseminate foreign intelligence information to assist the President and senior US Government policymakers in making decisions related to international security.
CIA carefully selects well-qualified people in nearly all fields of study. Science, engineering, economics, foreign languages, mathematics and computer specialist are but a few of the professional continually in demand. Military experience is a plus.
