Course / Program Description We are looking for professionals who can convey their industry experience and knowledge to our students using actual work examples and applications for topics covered in our program in Artificial Intelligence Technology Management. Industry experience is a must have. Qualified applicants possessing current knowledge and teaching passion and experience in the following topic areas are encouraged to apply: AI Fundamentals and Integration: Hardware, Software, Network, Database AI Applications and Language Processing: Machine Learning & Languages Hardware & Robotics, Natural Language Processing, Current Open-Source Applications, Availability of Accelerators Database and Network Integration and Business Cases Job Description UCLA Extension is considered one of the top programs of its kind, offering to more than 35,000 students per year approximately 4,500 classes and non-degree certificate programs to meet the professional development, continuing education, and personal enrichment needs of the full spectrum of nontraditional students as well as companies and organizations throughout and beyond the Los Angeles region. Artificial Intelligence Technology and GenAI instructor to teach 100% online course mode on a quarterly basis and ongoing. Instructor Duties: Develop and/or update existing course syllabus in consultation with the UCLA Extension Program Director Prepare and/or update existing course materials and learning assessments in Canvas Communicate and teach the course objectives and learning outcomes to students. Weekly and preferably daily interaction with students' discussion posts on Canvas for the highest engagement and collaboration opportunities with students to promote a positive learning experience. Conduct weekly live/zoom office hours for Q/A and to promote face-to-face engagement and communication with students, and foster authenticity. Review students' progress through the course assignments and apply timely grading at a minimum on a weekly basis. Respond to student questions and learning needs in a timely manner. Interact with the UCLA Extension Engineering Department's internal staff for timely administrative tasks.
