Collaborative Data Services (CDS) provides scientific support to researchers at the Fred Hutch. We are currently seeking an interviewer who will be responsible for collecting data through telephone, video conference (Zoom/Teams) or in-person research interviews with study participants, entering collected data into a data capture system, assembling mail packets for study recruitment. The incumbent follows strict research guidelines in accomplishing work assignments. Non-routine decisions are referred to the supervisor. The position reports to the CDS Project Manager. This position will work onsite approximately 25 hours per week. Responsibilities Conduct quantitative research interviews over the phone or videoconference - inbound and outbound calls. Answer participant questions according to study protocol and frequently asked questions. Scheduling appointments includes confirmation calls/emails; rescheduling; communicating updated information to the study team and other situations that could arise. Managing phone message line or email inbox. Follow complex data collection instruments to collect and record data according to study protocol. Data enter and verify completed data material. Perform light clerical duties including electronic file maintenance and mail assembly. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduation or the equivalent. One year of experience in job involving telephone or in-person contact with the public (such as customer service). Ability to read and follow written instructions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to neatly and accurately document information. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Microsoft Office Applications Ability to work independently in the office or from home, if necessary Strong desire to learn about clinical trials and research a plus. Comfortable speaking to diverse groups. Ability to multitask. Comfortable learning new software. Excellent attention to detail. Bilingual (Spanish) speaking would be a plus, but not required. The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.00 to $26.22 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
