Key Responsibilities:
Design components and sub-assemblies using SolidEdge and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and company standards.
Develop layout concepts and perform engineering calculations for hardware sizing (motors, gearboxes, cylinders, etc.).
Prepare detailed drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical manuals for new equipment.
Collaborate with Controls Engineering to develop machine control systems.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in mechanical design within the food processing industry, including system design and fabrication management.
Proficiency in SolidEdge and AutoCAD; experience with MS Project is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of hygienic design criteria related to food processing equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
