Responsibilities
Our Agency Field Implementation Coach (FIC) Community is seeking a highly motivated student to join our team for a summer internship. Our intern will be exposed to the areas of our organization related to the selection, development and support of our agents. A focus will be on the process around launching new agents and supporting large scale enterprise initiatives. In 11 weeks, the intern will come to understand the agent life cycle, be exposed to core competencies needed in the business world, and have a variety of opportunities to mentor and network. A special project incorporating these learnings will be identified to serve as the capstone of the summer intern experience.
Developmental and Networking Experiences Include:
- Exposure to the Agent Life Cycle:
Consult with Recruiting, Agency Learning, Flex FIC team, Sales Leaders, Proximity FIC, and agents to understand the agency opportunity and support systems. - Virtual Shadows:
Participate in virtual appointments with skilled FICs to observe relationship building, influence, and change adoption, followed by debriefs to answer questions. A template will be provided for key observations. - Mentoring/Networking:
Engage with fellow interns through a cohort approach, participate in monthly meet-and-greet sessions with directors, and be paired with a mentor FIC. Gain exposure to ERG groups and local event marketing opportunities. - Special Projects:
Collaborate on projects addressing challenges in launching new agents, conduct data analysis to provide recommendations for efficiency improvements, and expand Flex FIC team capabilities by proposing staffing and training needs.
