Buyer - Military Veterans

AppleOne is proud to present:
Immediate need for a Buyer to join a well-established organization in the East Bay. This is an opportunity for someone who has 3+ years of experience in a similar role. The duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
-Work closely with the supply chain manager on creating purchase orders
-Work with inventory programs to ensure accuracy
-Work with vendors and suppliers on answering questions, assist with RFQ
-Partner with the sales team, project manager, accounting and warehouse
-Manager inventory levels for ensure accurate counts and supply
-Responsible for planning and purchasing for products
-Use SAP daily to document and manage inventory
-With closely with the engineering team on any changes
-Issue customer PO’s, answer questions on any issues
-Audit reports and review any discrepancies
-Assist with logistics while ensuring timely and professional turnaround
Skills:
-3+ years in a similar role
-Bachelor's degree is a plus
-Manufacturing experience is a plus
-Ability to work in an independent and team setting
-Great at problem solving, attention not detail
-Ability to multitask
-Excellent communication skills, presentation skills
-Experience with SAP ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite
