What we’re seeking:
As a Residential Connectivity Sales Manager for Frontier’s Consumer Direct Sales organization, you will play a crucial role in the field supervision, development, and overall execution of a geographically dispersed outside sales team. You will oversee sales activities & focus on enabling sales success for each member of your team. You will lead from the front and act as a force multiplier for your team by removing obstacles, motivating, performance managing, and providing support at an individual level. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our, Norwich, CT work location to complete your work responsibilities.

You have robust yet expedient skills in project management and prioritizing multiple initiatives. Utilizing your enthusiasm and experience in building and motivating sales teams will be imperative in accomplishing goals.
You understand the art of door-to-door sales practices and how to be successful in direct sales, especially with cable or telecommunications services.

What you’ll do:
- Responsible for both achieving and maintaining the budgeted headcount, in addition to surpassing sales targets
- Engage in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of front-line outside sales agents
- Establish clear expectations and ensure employees are held accountable when those expectations are not met, maintaining a consistent and fair approach
- Maintain familiarity with the reporting and analytics necessary to drive and support business decisions
- Foster collaboration with other departments and support teams to attain goals and objectives
- Allocate work, with approximately 60% involving fieldwork and 40% office work
- Provide coaching and drive adherence to Frontier’s Consumer Sales Methodology
- Communicate territory/leads assignments to Residential Connectivity Sales Specialists on a regular basis
- Address employee relation issues, including conducting performance appraisals, offering coaching, and providing training as needed
- Complete administrative tasks associated with all sales activities and ensure that your team does the same
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of Frontier’s product offerings and value proposition in serviceable markets
- Maintain a current, in-depth awareness of the marketplace, including competition, and cultivate positive and professional relationships with customers, business partners, and colleagues
- Fulfill any other duties as requested by leadership

What background you should have:
- Ability to motivate, lead, & drive a sales team to success
- Proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, & speaking
- Exceptional interpersonal & professional communication skills and organizational aptitude
- Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint; able to learn the use of new technology stack tools with ease
- Ability to accommodate non-traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends
- Capability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities, even in adverse weather conditions, using a dependable personal vehicle
- Capability to work outdoors for extended durations regardless of the season or inclement weather
- Possession of a valid driver's license, maintaining a satisfactory driving record according to Company standards, and having auto insurance
- Proficiency in completing documentation with precision
- Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services
Required Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing, or 3+ years equivalent work experience in sales
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Direct Sales / Door-to-Door sales practices
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience (preferably in sales)
- Experience with consumer education of products and services
