ENTRY-LEVEL TELECOMMUNICATIONS - TOWER TECHNICIAN : WILL BE TRAINED - Military Veterans

We are seeking dedicated, safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Tower Technicians. In this role, you’ll assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications towers and equipment.
• Climb towers and work at heights up to 500 feet, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
• Use power tools and other equipment to install and test telecommunications hardware.
• Conduct inspections and ensure the quality of tower installations.
• Complete basic troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks as directed by senior technicians.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Participate actively in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training is a plus.
• Comfortable with heights and physically capable of climbing and carrying heavy equipment.
• Ability to travel and work outside of standard hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience or training in telecommunications, construction, or related field.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of rigging, lifting, and rope access techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety equipment and personal protective gear (PPE).

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong manual dexterity and coordination for using tools and climbing equipment.
