Ramp Agent/Trunk/DOT - Military Veterans

Job Duties

Hours: Monday-Friday 2PM-1030PM

Coordinates all operations relating to the interface between trunk aircraft loading/unloading activities; may perform job duties and responsibilities required of a courier. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Knowledge of time- keeping/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.

Job Conditions

Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. FAA covered safety sensitive position. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
