Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Human Development at Teachers College, Columbia University invites applications from highly qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach in one or more of the programs offered by the department (Cognitive Science in Education, Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics, Developmental Psychology and Learning Analytics) programs during the Spring 2025, Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 terms. Courses are offered to doctoral and masters students in the department and throughout the College. Both on campus and online assignments are available. For Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics candidates to teach in Spring 2025: - We are looking for someone to teach HUDM 6122 - Multivariate Analysis. You can find the course listing here: https://www.tc.columbia.edu/human-development/measurement-evaluation-and-statistics/courses/ General Responsibilities - Teach one or more sections of courses in the Department Human Development in face-to-face or online format. - Duties include classroom teaching, creation and distribution of course syllabi, assignments, assessments, and grading. Minimum Qualifications: -Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a related content field -Content expertise -University teaching experience -The candidate must be a US citizen or have visa status permitting employment in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of successful teaching from a recently taught course Salary Range: Starting at $4,500 per semester Work Modality: Hybrid
