Job Summary
Business Development Representatives in the Language Services division of AMN Healthcare are responsible for identification and development of prospective clients in the payor, provider, government and channel sectors. The role is responsible for performance against quarterly sales targets and works closely with Regional Sales Directors and BDR leadership on sales strategy development and execution.
This is a hybrid role and will require in person work 2 days/week in our Dallas office.
Successful team members in this role have:
- Strong "hunter" approach to sales with ability to develop sales plan for region and execute the plan on daily basis
- Consultative sales approach that supports relationship development based on trusted advisor status
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of all facets of healthcare market, AMN LS solutions and competitive landscape
- Experience and comfort with making cold calls and executing digital outreach strategies that stay "top-of-mind" with prospects and clients
- Following key attributes:
- Action/goal oriented, self-manager, effort/work ethic, resilient - can handle the ebbs of wins and losses, while understanding importance of continuous prospecting activity
- Self-motivated, Self-aware, and Collaborative
- Professional presence (including proficient use of LinkedIn and other professional social media platforms), positive energy, communicates well verbally/written, intuitive with questions/responses
- Effective at organizing day/week/month that supports prioritizing while also ensuring that full plan is executed on time, with necessary adjustments made as needed
- Desire to excel in sales
- Proven "story telling" skills
- Ability to meet/exceed individual performance metrics, while maintaining healthy competition among other team members

- Identifies and qualifies opportunities for language services within an 8-12 state region
- Target prospecting and sales development activity within healthcare organizations, including but not limited to acute care hospitals, physician groups, community clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing facilities, home care organizations, payors and channel partners
- Key contacts include Leaders in the areas of DEI, Patient Access, Language Services as well as CNO's
- End-to-end selling role that is responsible for regional plan development and execution of the plan through prospecting, lead development, and pipeline generation
Minimum Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of client experience, preferably sales but could include account management, customer service, etc.
- Experience working in a production/goal/incentive environment
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$24.50 - $30.50 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
