Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

This role will be responsible for optimizing the BJC supply chain through financial analysis and strategic decision-making. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including value stream managers, finance, procurement, logistics, and operations, to provide actionable insights that drive efficiency, cost savings, and profitability. This role is responsible for leading a team of data analysts, including overall planning, coaching, and mentoring team members to provide valuable insights to the organization in a timely fashion. This role will also be responsible for defining and delivering these analytics insights to key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial performance related to healthcare supply chain activities, identifying areas of opportunity with an impact understanding to financial statements. Develop and present comprehensive reports to management.
  • Develop pro formas for various supply chain costs and analysis, understanding cost and reimbursement levers, around key cost areas, including cost per case, high-cost drugs.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the healthcare supply chain department, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to healthcare supply chain operations. Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives, with a focus on actionable insights for supply chain and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial risks associated with healthcare supply chain operations, including supplier reliability and regulatory compliance. Provide financial guidance on potential cost-saving initiatives. Aggregate and synthesize key industry trends and distill to key insights to incorporate into decision making.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
