Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Marriage and Family Therapy School/Division: School of Health Sciences Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time Description: The Department of Counseling and Mental Health Professions at Hofstra University is pleased to invite applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in the area of Marriage and Family Therapy. This position is expected to begin January 2025. Rank is dependent upon the applicant's teaching experience and professional record. Additional teaching load per semester is dependent on the department's needs. Specifically, the MA Program in Marriage and Family Therapy program faculty are seeking an adjunct faculty to teach Clinical Supervision and additional Marriage and Family Therapy Courses as needed. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct supervision to MFT counselors-in-training, including live session observation, review of case notes and treatment plans. Qualifications: Hold New York state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Must have earned a master's degree or the equivalent in Marriage and Family Therapy or related area. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive in an educational environment. Preferred Qualifications: University-level teaching experience preferred.
