Position Number: 010236 Department: Business Services (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for technological innovation and leadership for all Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS) hardware software and integrations between university data sources and third party applications. Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four year college or university with a related degree to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institution. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: Four or more years experience with Parking Systems deployment and maintenance. Detailed knowledge of camera systems. Detailed understanding of Mototrbo radios systems. Significant experience with MS Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to develop Crystal/Webfocus/ SQL reports and understand relational databases. Applicants will be able to describe the architecture of a relational data structure. Applicants will discuss experiences with reporting tools and how output data was used. Applicants will discuss experiences creating and working import/export files between to data systems. Applicants will be able to demonstrate how to disseminate data from a Workbook in an easy to understand output using filters, pivot tables and/or graphs. Applicants will discuss experiences of improving a process for users (internal/external), how the change was implemented and how system documentation and training was managed..
