The Program Manager works closely with a group of inter-disciplinary UCSF faculty engaged in bioethics activities (education, research or clinical). In close collaboration with faculty, the Program Manager support the program's strategic direction and creates and manages long-term goals and oversees operations of the Bioethics program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Organize Human Subjects RCR (Responsible Conduct of Research) training in accordance with the mission and goals of the program, which may include learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and learner assessment activtiesi. Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the program Monitor funding and managing resources for the program Conducting program evaluation and implementation of changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved. Outreach to program stakeholders Collaborating with internal and external faculty and stakeholders to respond to questions and inquiries Assist with dissemination of program outcomes to stakeholders, such as conferences. Manage UCSF Bioethics communications, including website and mailing lists. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $92,900 - $153,100 (Annual Rate).
