Production Supervisor - Military Veterans

STS Technical Services is actively seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the operations of our Ridgeland, South Carolina manufacturing facility. This position will focus on overseeing day-to-day supervision of Tractor Assemblers, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workflow and production schedules, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while leading safety improvement activities.
  
  
• Supervise, train, and develop the production team, implementing Lean principles like 5S and Kaizen events.
  
  
• Liaise with departments such as Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales to resolve production challenges.
  
  

Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in specialty vehicle production or custom manufacturing.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, problem-solving, and hands-on experience with assembly tools.
  
  
• Proficient in reading blueprints and operating production systems.
  
  

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college or continuing education preferred.
  
  
• Experience in team leadership and management in a production setting.
