Construction Contract Administrator Assistant - Military Veterans

As a Construction Contract/Risk Administrator Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration and execution of contracts for both prime and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will also include assessing and mitigating risks associated with these contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:
Prepare accurate and error-free contract templates.
Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve contract issues and finalize agreements.
Track subcontractor credentials, licensing, and insurance compliance.
Provide administrative support to the estimating department, including bid bonds, insurance verification, and pre-qualification packages.
Draft and issue prime contracts to clients via DocuSign.
Assist project managers in setting up project-specific exhibits for subcontractor contracts.
Prepare and issue subcontractor contract drafts and exhibits via DocuSign.
Monitor subcontractor contract status, licensing, and insurance compliance.
Facilitate project closeouts by drafting notices of completion, obtaining warranties, O&M documents, and as-builts.
Assist with subcontractor safety vetting.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of contract administration experience in the construction industry.
Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
Insurance experience is a plus.
Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills to interpret contract terms and legal language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow protocols and processes.
Self-directed and highly organized.
Detail-oriented and meticulous.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in Timberline/Sage, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and Procore.
