Your Role
Your mission is to receive, ship, and handle all material.
As a Material Handler, you will report to the Warehouse Manager. This is a full-time position located on-site at our Voorheesville facility. The schedule for this position in Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- You will manage inbound and outbound materials, including documentation preparation, filing, and distribution.
- You will receive materials, identifying items without packing lists, assess resistance to oxidation, and handle large items without COG information.
- You will understand subcontractor flow process for receipt of subcontracted purchase orders and determine which purchase orders were previously received in SAP.
- You will load units for shipment and review all items not flagged to ship to determine if shipment is needed.
- You will operate PIT equipment and safely handle materials up to 50,000 lbs.
- You will organize and transport palletized materials to the offsite warehouse.
- You will ensure accurate identification and placement of materials in designated locations.
- You will support production scheduling by ensuring complete and timely delivery of materials.
- You will coordinate and maintain inventory levels through the Kan-ban system.
- You will reconcile material receiving and documentation with purchase orders and stockroom locations.
- You will pick parts and components onto specified job carts, maintaining a current shortage list.
- You will collaborate with other departments (Production, Service, Planning, Purchasing) for timely and accurate inventory distribution.

- You have 1+ years of experience in stockroom environment with industrial trucks.
- You are high school graduate or equivalent.
- You are able safely lift and handle materials up to 50lbs.
- You have knowledge of computerized inventory systems with ability to learn new equipment for the functions of the job.
- You work well with others.
