The position:
We are in search of an experienced Senior Business Controller who will join our DHS Finance team in Copenhagen and report to Senior Director Finance.
In this role you will be responsible for Business Controlling of DHS legal entities with focus on supporting the DHS business and product lines. This is a new position, so you will have the possibility to impact and take an active role in creating a Business controlling framework for DHS and support future development on the framework.
The Business Controller will play a key role in steering financial planning, analysis, and business decision-making processes. This role involves working closely with DHS managers and various departments to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, budget control, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, business forecasting, and an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for DHS.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a finance business partner and be responsible for all business controlling activities within the DHS product lines with a focus on performance e.g. contact to stakeholders Global Sales, R&D, After-sales etc. for follow up on activities, sales, costs, COGs etc.
- Creatingvalue by providing insights for the DHS management, thus influencing your business counterparts to contribute to decision making and supporting stakeholders in owning and driving financial performance.
- Preparing theDHS P&L by product line, explaining deviations, analyzing the performance of DHS product lines, improvingquality in reporting as part of the monthly financial review process.
- Monitoring and analyze financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends and variances.
- Participatingin the rolling forecasting and financial planning processes and to actively work with stakeholders to ensure reliable forecasts.
- Driving and securing that strategic and operational activities are implemented and tracked with a key focus on productivity and resource efficiency.
- Takingan active role in creating a Business controlling framework for DHS and support future development on the framework.
- Participatingin and leadership of various finance projects.
- Maintaining and developing processes and reports in Cognos/Power BIetc. for use in DHS finance Team.
- Participatinginmonthly reporting and support the business with finance related forecast and finance related questions, projects and tasks.
- Contributingto the development of the DHS finance team and act as back up for team-members when required.
Your experience:
- Relevant degree in business/finance (minimum B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial analysis, forecasting, controlling, or business finance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Highly skilled in using Excel and different software and tools to manage financial data and create reports (e.g., Cognos, Power-BI)
- Experience from a global international environment and to work in a matrix organization.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written. Ability to read and understand Danish.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
