Senior Software Engineer - Military Veterans

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, as part of the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. This position will cover jobs responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4 + years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of React UI development experience
• 3 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, or CSS
• 3+ years of software engineering experience within the financial services industry
• 2+ years of experience with Rest-based Microservices development
• 2+ years of experience with GraphQL development
• 2+ years of experience with Mongo DB experience

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• 2 + years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, or Spring Boot
• 2 + years of experience with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
• 2+ years of experience in an agile environment
• 1+ year of typescript experience
• 1+ year of CICD experience with tools such as Github, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Harness

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• This is not a remote position

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,800.00 - $179,200.00
