Machinist - Level 5



As a Machinist - Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our machining operations by operating machines, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain various machines to produce parts and components
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining machining equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


WE VALUE

Technical certification or degree in machining or a related field
Experience with CNC machines and programming
Knowledge of machining processes and best practices
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
