OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Assist with blood drive management activities, cover account manager vacancies, conduct ad hoc support tasks and maintain accurate records to ensure blood drives achieve donation goals. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist account managers to ensure blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities (e.g. on-site recruitment activities at blood drives, giving presentations to sponsoring organizations).
Provide oversight and record keeping (Hemasphere online recruitment and scheduling system) to ensure blood drives are properly managed.
Provide routine organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals.
May schedule education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer telerecruiters within assigned groups to comply with all directives and regulatory requirements.
Cover vacant territories and work with local volunteers and leadership on blood drive management as needed.
Maintain accurate system records to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.
Appropriately utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to support implementation of programs is preferred. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required. Good oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is strongly preferred. Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: Travel throughout assigned territory will be required.

The salary range for this position is (CA): $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
