MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Full time, Part time, and PRN. Most new hires start as PRN covering shifts needing extra staff. Once you have successfully established yourself, a part time or full time position with more regular hours may be offered. There are opportunities for growth and for you to make a career at HCA. Pay starts at $15 per hour and is based on your food services industry experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Patient Dining Associate is an integral member of the Food and Nutrition Services team. The Patient Dining Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to facilitate the provision of food services and nutritional support to patients, families, visitors and employees across the facility.
What you will do in this role:
- You will assist patients and family members with daily meal menu selections.
- You will deliver trays and snacks to patients throughout the hospital and collect soiled trays from patient rooms.
- You will check the patient’s diet order per meal according to diet manual and patient food preferences, allergies and food intolerances.
- You will notify the Dietitian of any irregularities.
- You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and send pertinent information to and from nursing units as well as have a basic knowledge of therapeutic diets.
- You will maintain required logs for HACCP and snack tally on a daily basis.
What qualifications you may need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of Food service experience preferred. Restaurant, healthcare facility, or institutional food service experience highly desirably
