Our client near St. Louis, MO is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their team for a contract to hire opportunity!
This is a great role for someone who has sheet metal or warehousing experience with at least 2 years of experience. You will be responsible for supervising work assignments, training employees, and continuous improvement. Candidates that have SAP, Union experience, or a Bachelor's Degree are all considered a big plus.

responsibilities:
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments while supervising systems integration and testing to maintain high-quality production at minimal cost, meeting company standards and customer specifications.
- Plan production schedules and assess component and sub-assembly availability.
- Address parts shortages with purchasing and adjust schedules as needed.
- Train new and current employees on processes to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Participate in planning meetings to recommend space, personnel, and equipment needs.
- Ensure compliance with operating procedures and requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement by engaging employees in waste identification and using tools like Value Stream Mapping and 5S+.
- Evaluate processes and recommend enhancements for production methods and product quality.
- Act as a technical resource to resolve inquiries and assist in problem-solving using systematic tools (A3, 8D, 5 Why etc.).
- Ensure accurate completion of all production documentation, including time cards and quality records.
