Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Regional Manager
Location: Baledogle, Somalia
Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager - Regional Manager to oversee and manage project operations and personnel within the assigned area of responsibility in Baledogle. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure that objectives are met, including schedule, quality, technical requirements, and financial performance. You will also ensure all project operations comply with contractual obligations and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee project operations and personnel within the assigned region, ensuring effective execution of all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, determining staffing requirements and resources for each project phase.
- Ensure project compliance with contractual requirements, including quality, schedule, and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate operational activities and project status with other sites, military contacts, and senior management to maintain alignment across various stakeholders.
- Establish and implement project practices and procedures, tailoring them to the needs of each phase.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to project teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
- Manage project risks, track progress, and ensure proper documentation of all project data.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reports, detailing project status and financial performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 13 to 16 years of related experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with internal teams, military contacts, and senior management.
Desired Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working with military or government contracts is a plus.
