Warehouse Supervisors are active throughout their day. They are responsible for overseeing the warehouse shipping, receiving, and/or replenishment activities and personnel to ensure that all functions are performed Safely within Company guidelines & OSHA standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Basic Work Requirements:
- Supervise the work force in the accomplishment of the day-to-day assignments
- Oversees pallet assembly to ensure stores receive the cases they ordered, on well-built pallets, and securely wrapped before being loaded onto trailers
- Resolves inventory discrepancies and issues credits to stores when appropriate
- Ensures steady workflow through the warehouse via routine spot checks on progress of associates and adjusts manpower to increase efficiency
- Maintains daily production and accuracy records
- Develops productive associates through training, coaching and disciplining, when necessary, in order to achieve company goals and objectives
- Possess strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience to include lead person or supervisory duties, preferably with the Company.
- Possess good supervisory & Team Leadership skills and the ability to work and motivate others to achieve positive results.
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports.
- Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities. Possess the ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions.
- Basic computer skills required and personal computer experience helpful, with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Experience using a WMS (Manhattan).
- Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems. Work environment is hectic and fast paced.
- Ability to work in controlled temperature environments ranging from room temperature to 28 degrees.
- This position requires considerable amounts of walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and ocassionally lifting up to 50lbs. Withstand long periods kneeling, squatting, or bending.
