Procurement Project Manager- Hybrid - Military Veterans

- Lead Procurement Activities: Manage all procurement activities in a project, ensuring optimal resource deployment and adherence to procurement strategies.
- Supplier Engagement: Source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers, including traveling to their facilities to review quality and processes.
- Strategic Implementation: Implement procurement strategies to optimize project results, ensuring the availability of quality goods and services within budget and on time.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and potential changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead complex contractual and price negotiations, ensuring major procurement risks and changes are covered in valid contracts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project management, commercial teams, and global commodity management to ensure procurement strategies align with project goals.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with direct experience required.
- Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience within the energy industry, including 4-6 years in supply chain management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record as a transformative leader, collaborator, and change agent capable of achieving results through and with others.
- Adaptability: Resilient and flexible in a dynamic work environment with proven leadership through change and conflict.
- Communication Skills: Strong cross-functional and cross-departmental communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with Digitalization, Controls, or Carbonization Business Fields is preferred.
