Responsible for managing the administrative operations of a school, OR a medium to large academic department, OR several small departments within a college, OR a medium to large non-academic department. Typically includes all or most of the following functions: IT, facilities, student services, contracts and grants, budgetary financial management and / or human resources. Manages a professional staff, typically large, and / or comprised of professionals in various fields. Assumes accountability for decisions made by subordinates. Performs long and short term planning for function. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and personnel, and serious delays in overall schedules. The Division of Integrated Behavioral Health (DIBH) in the ZSFG Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for a full time Division Administrator. The Division Administrator (DA) is accountable for all daily aspects of program management, fiscal management, contracts and grants administration, personnel management, and facilities management. DIBH has a robust $18 million portfolio with a focus on innovative state public healthcare system reform. The DA sits on the management team and provides leadership, support, and an administrative infrastructure for the Division and its programs; develops and implements strategic planning to further DIBH's expanded mission, in research, teaching, and patient care. The DA handles fiscal, personnel, contract, purchasing, operations and information systems and data oversight for all programs. The DA will spend the majority of their time supervising, improving, modifying, problem-solving or maintaining workflow and systems that their staff work within. The ideal candidate will be able to function independently and as part of a team. It is preferred that the candidate have experience with integrating programs within public medical settings, complex systems, maternal/child health and mental health systems of care, and public health financing. Experience in trauma informed care is preferred. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $206,300 (Annual Rate).
