Department Overview

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Department is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our associates, minimizing the EHS impact of their activities and complying with all applicable environmental, safety and industrial hygiene regulations. The EHS Dept is also responsible for Sustainability programs across the corporation including but not limited to Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility and Carbon Footprint reduction.

Job Description

Overview:

The sustainability intern will work with the Sustainability and Climate Impact team in the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department, and support the climate impact reduction program. This internship will support the corporate-wide greenhouse gas calculations, including scope 3 categories.

Responsibilities:

The sustainability intern will get experience with the following topics:

Data collection and analysis related to MSI products and greenhouse gas emissions
Must have the ability to use basic spreadsheets and data analysis software
Stakeholder engagement across different MSI product teams
Greenhouse Gas Protocol and corporate sustainability reporting

Basic Requirements

Must be currently pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors degree - ideally in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field
Must have a graduation date on or after December 2025
Students requiring current or future visa sponsorship must be pursuing a minimum of a Master’s Degree with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
