Assembly Mechanic Level 2
As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your expertise in mechanical assembly and attention to detail will ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona work schedule.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient assembly and testing of mechanical components. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the overall success of our production operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform mechanical assembly of components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled products
Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Basic computer skills
WE VALUE
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
Effective communication and teamwork skills
