Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Junior to Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with technical experts and leaders from various MDA components at the Von Braun Complex. The ideal candidate will be a growth-oriented professional with a strong drive to innovate and enhance operational efficiencies through organized and automated solutions across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that support MDA initiatives.
- Focus on Configuration Management and ensure adherence to rigorous documentation standards.
- Provide critical input and insights to Senior Leaders within the MDA to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages.
- Assist in the development of Plug-Ins and end-user interfaces (HMI/API development).
- Utilize UML and/or SysML in software design and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, C++, and Python.
- Experience with Power BI and IBM Jazz.
- Knowledge and experience in building Plug-Ins and developing end-user interfaces.
- Familiarity with UML and/or SysML for software design.
- Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- All work is conducted on-site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
