Job Description
The Open Educational Resources (OER) Librarian will lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of support for open education and textbook affordability initiatives and advocacy. As a member of the Library Faculty, this individual will collaborate with faculty, administrators, and staff to create meaningful partnerships within the library and across campus, including the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, IT Solutions, the bookstore, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office. This position requires a high degree of collaborative leadership and initiative and will be critical to the library's strategic growth to support student success.
In addition to serving students through open education and textbook affordability initiatives, library faculty work together in college-based teams to provide collection development, research support, and instruction. Â This position is a probationary, tenure-track faculty position assigned to the rank of Assistant Professor and is intended to begin on August 18, 2025.
