Postdoctoral Associate - Topp Lab | Donald Danforth Plant Science Center - Military Veterans
at Herc - South Midwest
A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Topp Lab at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center starting as soon as January 2025. The position will apply cutting edge phenomics technologies in the lab and field to understand mechanisms controlling root system growth, interactions with soil and microorganisms, and how they can be used to improve agricultural sustainability. We are especially interested in the genetic basis of root system architectures that increase nitrogen uptake efficiency, drought and flooding tolerance, and optimization of cash and cover crop roots in agroecosystems. Postdocs in the lab are encouraged to develop independent research concepts supported by fellowship and grant applications.
