Lead Power Systems Training Specialist - Military Veterans

Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems (EESS) Division is seeking a Lead Power Systems Training Specialist to join our team in Warrendale, PA or Houston, TX! Eaton has the largest and most experienced team of field services professionals in the industry, and we are looking to further build upon our best-in-class technical, safety, and power systems training programs.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $91,500 - $134,200 a year.

What you’ll do:
• Develop, deliver, and facilitate in-person and virtual technical, safety, and power systems trainings.
• Support and coordinate training events, including but not limited to, set-up, scheduling, travel, equipment, and material needs in conjunction with training coordinators and other personnel.
• Create, maintain, and update curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials.
• Work closely and collaborate with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders to ensure the employee training and learning experience aligns with safety, onboarding, and technical upskilling needs.
• Conduct student evaluations, course evaluations, cost tracking, and continuous improvement efforts within training programs
• Apply knowledge of safe electrical work practices as described in National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) standard 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S.
• Support in-person training in other Eaton hub locations on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, or an Electrical/Electronics certification/Associate's degree from an accredited trade school, or military equivalent AND a minimum of 4 years of experience evaluating, testing, installing or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment OR in lieu of a degree/certification a minimum of 10 years of experience evaluating, testing, installing or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.
• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation offered, only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Warrendale, PA or Houston, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior exposure and understanding of EESS training paths and safety certifications
• 7+ years of experience evaluating, testing, installing, or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA practices as related to electrical industry and safety standards
• Advanced power systems, relaying, or switchgear testing experience

• Knowledge and understanding of classroom presentation and instructional methods, technical writing skills, and an understanding of adult learning styles.
• Professional presence and an ability to build rapport with a variety of personalities in multiple levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in the tools required for the development of new training materials including Microsoft platforms, learning management systems, and electrical system software.
• Ability to learn and implement new delivery methods and/or champion change in product, technical, or field programs through instruction.
• Ability to lift, move and set up demonstration equipment of various weight up to 40 pounds and move wheeled-demonstration equipment weighing in excess of 40 pounds.
